As I have said in previous posts I have been attempting to get a scholarship for my PhD from Microsoft Research Europe. This week the results came in and unfortunately I have to say that my proposal didn’t get accepted. The reviews however (from two anonymous reviewers) were largely positive with one reviewer even recommending to “absolutely fund” my research.

So even though I’m disappointed about not being accepted, I’m at least glad to see that my proposal is seen as being a good, highly innovative idea that is worth persuing. That at least gives me confidence to keep on going. I’ll keep you up-to-date and one day I might even tell you what the whole proposal is about.
