The first roll of Ilford 400 delta professional out of my Yashica has been developed…..by me!! Yes, it’s true, I developed it. Easier than I would have thought and a lot of fun. Even though the thermometer had broken somehow, so temperature was a bit of a guess. But it all worked out reasonably well. There just seems to be a small issue with the scanner, but I’ll work that out. Film is fun.
Yes, I did indeed get myself a scanner – an Epson Perfection V500 Poto – and the results are awesome. Admittedly the photo is nothing special, but I’m simply amazed by the quality that comes out of this camera, using expired color film. This is going to be fun.

After having my first roll of (expired) 120 film out of my Yashica A developed, we have confirmation that it works. What you see above is a photograph taken of the negative, backlit by my mobile phone, processed in photoshop. Hence the abysmal quality. But until I get to scan my negatives, that’s what you’ll have to make do with.
